Koe No Katachi menceritakan tentang tokoh utama bernama Nishimiya Shouko yang baru pindah sekolah. Nishimiya merupakan gadis yang berkebutuhan khusus sebagai penyandang Tuna Rungu. Akibatnya, ada beberapa murid teman sekelas Nishimiya yang sering membullynya. Teman sekelas Nishimiya yang sering melakukan bullying seperti Ishida Shouya. Awalnya, Nishimiya bersikap biasa dengan hinaan yang diberikan oleh teman-temannya. Namun, semakin hari hinaan teman sekelasnya semakin parah yang menyebabkan Nishimiya sering merasa sedih dan menangis. Setelah merasa tidak kuat dengan hinaan yang diberikan oleh teman-teman anaknya, ibu Nishimiya akhirnya memutuskan untuk memindahkan Nishimiya ke sekolah lain. Dalam anime Koe No Katachi diperlihatkan bahwa karma itu pasti berlaku. Apa yang terjadi selanjutnya? Ishida mengalami bullying oleh teman-temannya sendiri akibat kesalahan ceroboh yang ia lakukan. Dalam movie tunggal Koe No Katachi, waktu berjalan semakin cepat dan langsung masuk dimana Ishida dan Nishimiya telah beranjak dewasa dan duduk di bangku SMA. Ishida mengalami pengalaman buruk yang dulu pernah ia lakukan kepada Nishimiya. Ishida bahkan menjadi orang yang sudah memiliki teman dan malah menjadi introvert karena rasa bersalahnya terhadap Nishimiya. Betapa kagetnya Ishida ketika ia dipertemukan kembali dengan Nishimiya. Akibat penyesalannya selama ini, Ishida akhirnya mengakui semua kesalahan kepada Nishimiya. “Aku menyesal terhadap semua hal yang dulu aku lakukan kepadamu”, ucap Ishida sambil menangis. [1] Although it's a premise of concept-based composition, at first, like my ordinary work, my job was to write a whole song and gave it to them. Since the song would be selected according to the movie scene, I put a 3-letter title as an identification code. ... while it doesn't answer the question at all, that's the very reason why he chose to use it. [1] Because it's not based on orders, I wanted them to use it without giving any pretext such as "this is the meaning of the song". After it's understood, it became a base to create such a beautiful clavier song. I thought it's matching with the movie's theme. Therefore, the "Invention" was played along the whole movie. That become the "inv" tracks. Since "Invention" can be analyzed separated into 3-part, I also separated the movie into 3 parts. Each part has its own "Invention". However, "inv" is not a whole "Invention" itself, but it depends on the context of the movie. For example, when somebody said "This scene's "inv" uses only the tone row of "Invention" part 1", I disassembled and rebuilt the song. Spoiler ahead the meaning of the song related to the movie, including the ending After Shouya overcame his guilt in primary school, he created a new way of communication. The story is about "communication practice", so I used musical exercises. The song was based on creating a whole new world when practising the communication. When thinking about it, Bach's Inventions Inventions and Sinfonias came to my mind. Regarding the ending, when Shouya and Shouko entered the cultural festival, the last-7 measure of "Invention" was played, and that's the first time the whole figure of "Invention" was known. At that time, Shouya's "practice" was over. The only other title which was explained was "lit" [1] The last song "lit", which was only played 2 times, means "light". A Silent Voice The Movie atau dalam bahasa Jepang Koe no Katachi adalah sebuah film animasi Jepang yang dirilis pada tahun 2016 oleh Kyoto Animation. Film ini disutradarai oleh Naoko Yamada dan ditulis oleh Reiko Yoshida yang diadaptasi dari manga berjudul sama, A Silent Voice. Film ini menceritakan tentang Shoya Ishida, seorang murid SMA yang memiliki masalah saat ia masih duduk di bangku sekolah dasar. Saat Ishida masih SD, kelasnya kedatangan seorang murid baru. Saat diminta untuk memperkenalkan diri, anak itu mengeluarkan sebuah buku catatan yang didalamnya sudah ada tulisan untuk memperkenalkan dirinya. Diketahui nama gadis itu adalah Shouko Nishimiya. Di lembar terakhir buku catatan yang dia tunjukan, bertuliskan sebuah kalimat yang membuat anak-anak dikelas itu terkejut "Aku tidak bisa mendengar." Shoya Ishida dulu terkenal dengan kejahilannya yang bahkan terkesan berlebihan. Nishimiya yang tunarungu dan tunawicara itu kemudian menjadi bahan bullying dikelasnya, terutama oleh Ishida. Pembullyan yang dilakukan oleh Ishida dan teman-temannya berlanjut terus sampai lima bulan, saat itu Ishida sudah melakukan sesuatu yang sangat kelewatan sampai membuat Nishimiya terluka. Orang tua Nishimiya yang mengetahui bahwa anaknya mendapat perlakuan tidak baik disekolahnya pun melapor. Tak lama sesudahnya, Nishimiya pindah sekolah. Setelah kepindahan Nishimiya itu, keadaan Ishida pun berubah 180 derajat. Ia yang dulu suka menjahili dan membully orang kini menjadi bahan bullyan orang lain. Suatu hari, Ishida bertemu dengan Nishimiya secara tidak sengaja. Pertemuannya dengan Nishimiya itu sedikit demi sedikit mengubah hidupnya. Singkat cerita Ishida dan Nishimiya semakin dekat. Nishimiya yang dulu pernah diperlakukan tidak baik olehnya tidak pernah merasa benci kepada Ishida. Namun setelahnya muncul berbagai masalah lain. Nishimiya yang merasa hidupnya tidak berguna karena kekurangannya berniat untuk bunuh diri di hari festival kembang api. Ishida yang melihat Nishimiya hendak melompat dari balkon apartemennya yang tinggi pun hendak menghentikannya. Percobaan bunuh diri Nishimiya malah membuat Ishida merasa bersalah kepada Ishida. Ishida yang lama tak sadarkan diri akhirnya terbangun dan langsung meninggalkan rumah sakit untuk mencari Nishimiya. Ishida hendak meminta maaf atas kejadian selama ini, atas perilakunya yang tidak baik kepada Nishimiya. Alur cerita film ini sangat menarik dan rapi. Meski Koe no Katachi ini adalah sebuah film animasi, namun cerita yang diberikannya memberikan makna yang dalam. Tema bullying yang terkandung dalam film ini memberikan gambaran dampak dari tindakan itu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kita bisa mengambil nilai-nilai baik dalam film ini. Cara penyampaian emosi dalam karakter 2D di film ini sangat baik. Tidak terkesan berlebihan atau lebay. Tiap tokohnya juga memiliki karakter yang sangat sering kita temui sehari-hari, seperti Ueno yang mudah membenci dan Kawaii yang munafik karena selalu membela dirinya sendiri. Namun, ada beberapa bagian yang mungkin harus diperbaiki. Pada film ini, banyak scene dimana tokohnya berbicara menggunakan bahasa isyarat karena Nishimiya yang tunarungu dan tunawicara. Hal ini memang menjadi suatu kebutuhan bagi film ini untuk menonjolkan tokohnya yang berkebutuhan khusus, namun gerakan bahasa isyarat yang ditampilkan itu sering kali tidak di beritahu apa artinya.
